Intenet Service Plans/Costs

Methownet.com currently offers two methods of connecting to the Internet: dial-up and wireless.

Dial Up Service
Dial up offers customers an economical way to access the Internet using existing phone lines to transfer data. While speed is limited, Dial-up is effective for customers who primarily use Internet access for email and information purposes. Set up can be completed over the phone and only requires a username and password supplied by the customer. Includes one email account.

Wireless Service
Our locally owned and operated Internet service is designed to maximize performance and stability. To this end, we use the best commercial-class equipment available and provide comprehensive technical and network support to our customers. Includes 2 email accounts.

Extra email accounts are available for $3.00 per account.

Methownet.com also provides fiber service in our area.  Call for more information on costs and availability.

Basic Residential/Business 512/512k - 20GB data transfer/month  - 39.00/mo.

Standard Business Plus 768/768k - 30GB data transfer/month  - 59.00/mo.

Advanced Business 1Mbit - 30 GB data transfer/month  - 79.00/mo.

Data transfer in excess of limit for each account is provided at $2/GB/month.

We are happy to provide higher levels of service as needed. Our system is capable of providing high capacity (10Mbit or more) systems where needed. 

All prices are subject to change.

Equipment and Installation
The cost of equipment varies depending on the complexity and access point. Prices range from $150 - $500.
