Setting up a dial up connection
Click on the Apple Menu and go to the Internet Access Folder then click on the Internet Setup Assistant.
If it is not there, open Sherlock (Command F), and do a search for Internet
Setup Assistant. Open it
from the search results list.

as long as it makes sense to you.
Modem Settings
Ensure your settings
are as above. If you have call waiting or a message service
on your phone, check the 'Ignore dial tone' box.

Type in the phone number displayed
above, 996-4434
Type in your Methownet username where it asks for 'What name'
Type in your Methownet password where it asks for 'password'.

Type in your Email address where it asks for e-mail address.
Type in your password, unless you always want to be asked for it when you receive your mail.

Type in your Email address where it asks for e-mail account. This may show up automatically.
Type in mail.methownet.com where it asks for the e-mail host.

Just leave this blank.

Connecting in the future
To connect in the future you can use the Remote
Access section of the
control strip or use the Remote Access control panel.
Also starting your email program, or your web browser ( Internet
Explorer) will usually connect you to Methownet.
